My heart is absolutely broken hearing about Nico. I had the privilege of cutting his hair when he was just a little boy, and I will always remember how sweet and special he was.

One day, while his mom stepped next door to fix a nail, she handed Nico her credit card so he could pay for his haircut. After I finished, he proudly paid and handed me a $25 tip. I asked him, “Are you sure you’re supposed to give me this much?” and he said, “I think so.” When his mom came back, I told her the story and we both laughed. Even at such a young age, his generosity and pure heart shined so brightly.

He was always so happy with his haircuts, never complained, and truly was one of the sweetest little souls. That is how I will always remember him.

Nico will be so deeply missed. My prayers and love are with his family during this unimaginable time. 💔
